Scrappin'

I got the itch to do a little digi-scrappin, and here's what I came up with.

The thing I am enjoying is being able to move things around on the page and make them bigger or smaller as it suits me. AND, I can use the elements over and over again. Not like actual paper where once it is used, it's gone.

I would like, at some point, to do enough pages to be able to print a book. There are several online companies that will print the book for a fee.

But there are so many things on my "to-do" list right now, the full-time scrappin' thing will have to wait. Maybe if I do a page or two a week, I could have one done before 2010.

Some International Fun

Click on the picture to enlarge.

Today was our monthly get-together with other internationally adopted children in the area. This time, we had all girls: two from Korea (Mia and Maya), two from Guatemala (Lauren and Courtney), and one from China. I'll let you guess who that was. :)

It was fun to get outside and enjoy the sunshine with our new friends.

Next month, we'll be eagerly waiting to see our newest friend, Angela. Her family is going to Panama next week to adopt her!

Spring Has Finally Sprung

Sunny skies and temps in the 60s and 70s! Now that's what I'm talking about!

Our flowers decided it was time to bloom! How pretty!
And a busy little bee has come to work.
He made a stop at all these little blooms.
Abby climbing our small Red Maple in front of our house.
I am a happy camper!

Wedding Day (Or Should We Call It "Flower Girl Day")

The first duty for every flower girl is to have her hair done. Since we did not have the amazing Tina to do it, we had to settle for the local gal. She did ok. Although, I was concerned that it would not outlast the bounciness of my daughter.

Love those curls!

The photographer is very artsy and took some pictures down by the Bay. She even got in the water for a few of the shots. I'm sure that water was around 40 degrees. And the wind was blowing!

This little guy was the cutest! They did very well walking down the isle together. Abby even managed to drop more than 5 petals.

At the reception, the burning question was, "Can I have some cake, Mommy? When are they going to cut the cake? I want some cake, now." It was even accompanied with some groans for good measure, just to make sure I knew she was desperate!

Finally... the CAKE!

A big day with no nap makes for one tired little girl! She was exhausted and fell asleep on her Daddy. Shortly after this photo, she woke up a little and realized we were leaving and began to cry inconsolably, "I want to stay! I don't want to leave!" It was a major breakdown and further proof of her need to sleep!!!
