In June (!) and July, Abby took swimming lessons. We weren't necessarily planning on taking them this year. But after the first day at the pool and a mini-meltdown of "I CAN'T SWIM!!!", I decided it might be best to do a refresher course. I signed her up before we left the pool that day.
She did "swimmingly!"
Her friend from pre-school was in her class.
Then for the rest of the summer, I could hardly get her out of the water. She loved to swim underwater best.

We have been working on swimming lessons too but haven't gotten her going on her own yet. Abby looks so confident. How long did it take her to feel that way?
