I did hand quilt the cat quilt. But, honestly, I hate hand quilting. It's tedious. The machine quilting, though it can be expensive, is very pretty. Heirloom quilts are usually hand quilted. But you can do so many pretty things with machine quilting... and it is SO. MUCH. FASTER!
I don't know what the 100 squares quilt is. What kind of patterns are you looking for? Will each square be a different pattern?
